Apply different filtering policies during school hours vs. after hours.
How Schedules Work
Each policy can have a schedule attached. When the schedule is active, the policy applies. Outside the schedule, it doesn't.
Setting Up School Hours
- Go to Settings > Schedule
- Set your school start and end times (e.g., 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Select active days (typically Monday through Friday)
- Save
Creating a Scheduled Policy
- In Policy Manager, create or edit a policy
- Enable "Schedule" in the policy settings
- Select "School Hours Only" or set custom times
- Save
Example Setup
- Policy: "Strict Daytime" — Blocks social media, gaming, streaming. Active 8 AM – 3 PM, Mon–Fri.
- Policy: "After Hours" — Only blocks adult content. Active 3 PM – 8 AM and weekends.
How the Dashboard Shows It
The dashboard's School Hours Indicator shows whether school is currently in session, what time the current period ends, and which policies are active.
