Adding bypass domains

Bypass domains skip the proxy entirely — they're never inspected or filtered.

When to Use Bypass

  • Apple services (already bypassed by default)
  • Speed-test sites that don't work through a proxy
  • Internal school network resources
  • Specific vendor platforms that conflict with proxy inspection

How to Add

  • Go to Settings > Network
  • In the "Bypass Domains" section, enter the domain (e.g., "speedtest.net")
  • Click Add
  • The domain is immediately added to the PAC file — devices will connect directly

Important Notes

  • Bypass domains are not filtered — no logging, no blocking, no inspection
  • Use sparingly. Every bypass domain is a gap in your filtering
  • Changes are logged in the Audit Log
  • Apple domains (apple.com, icloud.com, etc.) are bypassed by default for performance
