Open your school's KyberCopy address, for example yourschool.kybercopy.com, and choose Sign in.
Two ways to sign in
Both options are shown on the sign-in page when your school has Google sign-in configured.
- Continue with Google. Use the same account you use for school email. This is the normal route for teachers. Your school's Google Workspace controls the account, so if IT disables someone there, they lose access here too.
- Email and password. For copy room staff on a shared machine with no Google session, or anyone whose Google sign-in is not working. A password account exists only if an administrator invited you.
If the email and password do not match, KyberCopy shows one generic message. It does not say whether the email exists, on purpose.
Invitations
When an administrator invites you, you receive a one-time link. Invitation links last one week and can only be used once. Open the link, choose a password, and you are signed in. If the link has expired, ask whoever runs your copy room to send a new one.
If you see "You are signed in, but not set up here yet"
Your account worked, but it is not a member of this school's copy room. This happens most often with Google sign-in, because a Google account exists before anyone adds it to KyberCopy.
- If your school turned on automatic joining for its Google domain, you are added on the spot and sent straight to the app.
- If you have access to a different school, the page lists it with a link. Check you opened the right address.
- Otherwise, ask whoever runs your copy room to add you. It takes them a few seconds.
There is a sign-out link on that page if you need to switch accounts.
Your account page
Under Account you can change the name the copy room sees on your requests and change your password. Changing your password signs you out everywhere else, which matters on shared copy room machines.
